Iran has launched a sweeping internal crackdown amid its ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, arresting dozens over alleged espionage links. According to Iran’s intelligence ministry, 97 individuals have been detained for allegedly working as “soldiers of Israel” in a major counter-intelligence operation. Authorities say the arrests are part of a wider nationwide sweep targeting suspected links to foreign adversaries. In Alborz province, 41 more people were detained for allegedly sharing videos and information with foreign-based opposition media.
