Indian Soldier Killed In Anti-Infiltration Operation Along LoC In Uri; Pak 'BAT' Action Suspected

The Indian army thwarted an infiltration bid along the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector on August 13. One soldier was killed in the fierce gunfight with terrorists. A counter-infiltration operation has been launched in the area to track down the attackers. The army's action comes amid threats by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, Army Chief Asim Munir, and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
