‘Incorporated Ukraine War Lessons’: Putin Reveals Purpose Of Military Drills | Zapad 2025

Russia Zapad 2025 drills with Belarus involve 100,000 troops amid NATO tensions. President Vladimir Putin said the large-scale Zapad 2025 exercise was designed to repel attacks and included lessons from the conflict in Ukraine. The drills, held in Mulino and beyond, featured 100,000 troops, 10,000 units of hardware, 333 aircraft, and 250 naval vessels. Putin emphasised the experience of Russia’s “special military operation” was incorporated into the training.
