The White House is a living museum thanks to former first lady Jackie Kennedy. Her passion for preserving art, furniture, and other items original to the building lives on through organizations she founded 60 years ago. Mrs. Kennedy founded the White House Historical Association, and it's president Stewart McLaurin said the organization works with every U.S. president and first lady to design and enhance the rooms of the executive building.
