Declaring Iran “militarily defeated,” Trump signaled strong expectations from the talks while hinting at possible unilateral action. In a bold warning, he said the U.S. is prepared to reopen the Strait of Hormuz — “with or without them” — referring to Iran’s role in disrupting the vital global oil route.
