The FBI is investigating an attempted assassination of Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach golf club. Palm Beach county sheriff Ric Bradshaw informed reporters at a press conference, "We have somebody in custody right now that is a potential suspect." Bradshaw also stated that Trump had been playing golf at his course in West Palm Beach, Florida, not far from his Mar-a-Lago residence, when the would-be shooter was observed in bushes one hole ahead of the former president. Trump himself said in a website fundraising message later, "Fear not! I am safe and well, and no one was hurt. Thank God!"This is the second time in two months that Trump has reported to be the target of an assassination attempt. On July 13, the former president was wounded in the ear while delivering a speech at an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. (Source: ABC News)
