Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasized that Israel’s campaign against Iran is far from over, even as a ceasefire with the U.S. remains in place. Speaking in a televised address, Netanyahu stated that Israel still has key objectives to achieve, warning that the country’s “finger is on the trigger” and it is ready to return to battle if necessary. The statement comes after Israel conducted strikes in Lebanon, prompting the U.S. to clarify that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire agreement. Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the U.S. of violating ceasefire terms. Netanyahu affirmed that Israel will pursue its goals through negotiations or renewed military action if required.
