It is the first “Scudetto”, the league’s championship title, that Napoli has won since Maradona era. The Argentinian legend led the club to their only previous Italian league titles in 1987 and 1990. Napoli has secured the title after a draw against Udinese. The point earned from the match gives Napoli an insurmountable 16 point lead over second-place Lazio with five matches still to play.
