In an attack that sent shockwaves across Iraq, an aircraft was set ablaze in a U.S. military base near Baghdad International Airport, according to an Al Jazeera report. The aircraft identified in the report as an Iraqi special forces plane was blown up in a rocket attack on Victory Base in the Iraqi capital. Multiple rockets reportedly hit the base on March 30, triggering a loud blast that was heard across the city. The Al Jazeera report claimed that the air defence system installed at the base was not able to intercept the incoming rockets, and it hit an A32B Iraqi transport plane.Watch the video for more details.
