Delhi water crisis: Haryana reduces raw water supply

Delhi Jal Board vice-chairman Raghav Chadha said that Haryana has reduced the supply of raw water to Delhi, which may lead to a water crisis. Supply has been reduced through both carrier-lined canal and Delhi Sub-Branch canal. The reduction has impacted Delhi’s water treatment plants. As a result, higher pollution levels have been recorded, with ammonia levels reaching 2.3ppm at some spots.
