After years of friction is the India-China relationship witnessing a reset, thanks to the relentless onslaughts on India’s economy and strategic autonomy by US President Donald Trump? China's foreign minister Wang Yi is currently visiting India, and the visit is being widely seen as an attempt by both countries to repair and strengthen bilateral ties that were severely damaged by the deadly border clashes in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh in June 2020. This comes at a time when Trump has unleashed the terror of tariffs on the world,especially with a clear intent to brazenly target India, thereby triggering uncertainty everywhere.
