Renowned South Indian singer and actor Balasaraswathi Devi passed away peacefully at her residence in Hyderabad at the age of 97. She was hailed as the first playback singer of Telugu cinema and had a vast repertoire of over 2,000 songs. Tributes have flooded in from across the industry, including from Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and actor Pawan Kalyan, mourning the loss of a pioneer.
