Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reuniting on screen after six years for a historical war drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Tentatively titled VD14, the film is set between 1854 and 1878 during colonial India. Vijay will portray dual roles of a father and son, while Rashmika plays the female lead. The project is currently in pre-production, with filming scheduled to begin in October 2025
