Shots fired at Sidhu Moosewala statue: mother calls it 'wound to her soul'

Unidentified attackers fired shots at a statue of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in Dabwali near the Punjab–Haryana border. The statue, installed by JJP leader Digvijay Chautala in tribute to Moosewala’s legacy, was reportedly shot at as part of a warning sent from an international number. Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, described the incident as more than vandalism—calling it a painful 'attack on his memory' and 'a wound to our soul.' Authorities have registered a case and investigations are ongoing.
