In a poignant Instagram post, Nimrat recalls her Father's service and sacrifice, writing - 'Papa’s sacrifice left behind a lifelong legacy of goodwill for our family… Happy birthday, Papa…' Major Singh was posthumously awarded the 'Shaurya Chakra' for bravery after he laid down his life in 1994.
