The makers of 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' have issued an official apology after a section of Karnataka audiences accused the Malayalam film of portraying Bengaluru as a hub of drugs and parties. Wayfarer Films, led by Dulquer Salman, said the dialogue was an 'unintended oversight' and promised to remove it immediately. The controversy comes after repeated criticism that Malayalam films are stereotyping Bengaluru in a negative light.
