Veteran actor Tanuja has reportedly been hospitalised. According to reports, she was admitted to a hospital in Juhu, Mumbai on the evening of December 17 due to age-related issues. Reports further stated that the 80-year-old actress is currently in the ICU and under observation. According to PTI, she is doing well and there is nothing to worry about it. Tanuja is known for her noteworthy performances in popular films like ‘Jewel Thief’, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, ‘Baharein Phir Bhi Ayengi’, ‘Mere Jeevan Sathi’ among others. She is known to be the sister of well-known actress Nutan and the mother of Kajol. Apart from Hindi cinema, Tanuja is known for her work in Bengali films as well. Notably, she turned 80 in September when Kajol and Ajay Devgn had posted birthday wishes for her on social media. Sharing a special video of her mother, the ‘Lust Stories 2’ actress wrote ‘Eight decades of love, wisdom, and laughter! Happy Birthday to my incredible Mom!’
