Sharing glimpses from the event on social media, Jacqueline, who chose a red saree with a long matching jacket, expressing her gratitude wrote, 'Thank you for making me a part of the 41st India Day Parade in New York! It was truly an overwhelming moment @federationofindianassociations'. Reacting to her pictures, one user wrote, 'India me koi nhi puchhega bahan', another one commented, 'Sukesh ko bhi bula lete...'. Apart from Jacqueline, Samantha Ruth Prabhu also celebrated Independence Day with the Indian diaspora in the US as she she also took part in the parade. Sharing glimpses of her look, Samantha in an Instagram post wrote, 'They say New York is where dreams are made. I started my career when I shot for my first film here…. A scared little girl without a clue about how she was going to make it… but daring enough to dream the big dream! Today, 14 years later…' In her speech she said, “Jai Hind.
