Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare in Mumbai amid the presence of family and friends. Their wedding ceremony grabbed eyeballs for various reasons; one of them being the groom Nupur jogging his way to the wedding venue instead of arriving on a horse in the traditional baarat. Soon after their wedding, Ira acknowledged his gesture in one of her latest Instagram Stories. Sharing a picture with him in his gym shorts, black vests and sports shoes, the star daughter wrote ‘He didn’t come on a horse, he ran to the venue, and I placed cute posters along the way’. The photo saw the newly-weds giving a joint speech on stage at their wedding ceremony. Notably, Ira’s reaction to Nupur’s outfit was also captured at the wedding when she hinted him to take a shower. The video was posted on Instagram by one of the guests: Meanwhile, Nupur’s choice of outfit became a target of massive trolling among netizens after his videos surfaced on social media. It is worth noting that he is a fitness trainer and brought his own touch to the baarat. Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare dated each other for several years before they got married on January 3.
