'Coolie' makers move Madras High Court against 'A' certificate for Rajinikanth film

Sun Pictures has filed a petition in the Madras High Court against the CBFC's decision to issue an 'A' certificate for 'Coolie', arguing that similar high-voltage action films like 'KGF' received U/A ratings. The petition was admitted by Justice T.V. Thamilselvi, and the court has asked the CBFC to respond ahead of a hearing scheduled for August 25, 2025.
