Assam Police Slaps Murder Charge On Zubeen Garg’s Manager & Festival Organiser

Assam police have escalated the case surrounding singer Zubeen Garg’s death by filing murder charges against his manager Siddharth Sharma and festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta. The two were arrested in Delhi and remanded in police custody. Investigators say fresh evidence prompted the upgrade from earlier charges such as culpable homicide and negligence. The probe now includes two more arrests.
