Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan File Lawsuit Against YouTube And Google

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have moved the Delhi High Court against YouTube and its parent company Google, demanding Rs 4 crore in damages over AI-generated deepfake videos misusing their images, voices, and personas. The petition, spanning 1,500 pages, also calls for a permanent ban on such videos and their use in training other AI models. The couple argues India currently lacks adequate protection for personality rights, and such misuse has serious reputational risk.
