AI-Generated Viral Image of Ranveer Singh Sparks Outrage, Dhar Breaks Silence

A major controversy has erupted around Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge after a viral image showed Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat seemingly smoking while wearing a turban. Members of the Sikh community raised objections, claiming it disrespected religious sentiments, and a formal complaint was filed at Mumbai’s Mulund Police Station. Director Aditya Dhar has now clarified that the image is completely fake and AI-generated. He emphasized that the film respects the Sikh community and that no scene in the movie shows smoking in turban. Despite the controversy, Dhurandhar 2 continues to perform strongly at the box office, crossing ₹1000 crore worldwide.
