Tamannaah Bhatia likely to play renowned yesteryear actress Jamuna in biopic?

Yesteryear actors have a special place in the hearts of movie lovers. That is why the filmmakers are making a series of biopics based on the life of former stars. Everyone knows how the biopic of Savitri entertained the audience. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Mahanati starred Keerthy Suresh in the titular role. The biopic not only received critical acclaim but also broke box office records. If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, a biopic on the iconic yesteryear actor Jamuna is on the cards. According to the reports, a popular Telugu filmmaker has initiated talks with Jamuna to get her nod on the biopic. Reportedly, Tamannaah Bhatia has been approached to play the titular character, and if everything goes as per plan, she might give her nod soon. The makers of the project are yet to make any official announcement. Sources say that Sivanagu of Devineni fame will be helming the film and has recently narrated the script to Tamannaah.
