The nation is witnessing a massive surge in the COVID-19 cases and many celebs have come under its grip in the past couple of months. Now, popular Telugu actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has also tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 and is under home quarantine. Confirming the same, the superstar's team and his political outfit Janasena Party has now issued a statement which reads, 'On April 3, he took part in a padayatra in Tirupati and ever since he returned to Hyderabad, he felt sick. He was advised to get tested for Covid-19 and his initial reports were negative. The doctors advised him to isolate himself at his farmhouse. During the quarantine at his farmhouse, Pawan continued to experience body aches and fever. So he took another test, and only then he tested positive for Covid-19. After which cardiologist Dr. Tangella Suman was flown down to Hyderabad from Khammam to treat Pawan Kalyan.' The statement further states that his brother-actor Chiranjeevi and sister-in-law Surekha have been taking care of him and also making all the medical arrangements required at his farmhouse only. The statement also mentioned that Pawan’s condition is stable, and he will return to his work soon. Well, one of his pictures wherein he could be seen getting treated also went viral on social media and the fans expressed their concern over the actor's health and wished for his speedy recovery in the comment section. Notably, a majority of his staff and associates were also tested positive last week. Meanwhile, talking about his work front, the actor recently made a comeback to cinema with the film 'Vakeel Saab' which is a Telugu remake of the hit film 'Pink' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. 'Vakeel Saab' hit the theatres on April 9 and turning out to be one of the big hits of Pawan Kalyan's career.
