Ek Mini Katha is a film that brings along a light-hearted, romantic tale with an underlining theme of a social message. Starring Santosh Shobhan and Kavya Thapar in the lead, it deals with a rather unusual subject that a common man faces. The film, directed by Karthik Rapolu and written by ‘Venkatadri Express’ fame Merlapaka Gandhi will be streaming on an OTT platform from May 27. The film marks the directorial debut of Karthik Rapolu and also stars Shraddha Das, Brahmaji, Sudharshan, Sapthagiri, Krishna Murali Posani and Keshav Deepak in crucial roles. Ek Mini Katha is presented by Mangoes Mass Media, while it is bankrolled by UV Concepts of UV Creations. Speaking about his character, Santosh Shobhan said in a statement, “It was an absolute riot while filming this movie! The writing, the direction was so spot on, that playing the character came easily to me. The fact that this topic is so ingrained in reality that the finer nuances of the character were not very difficult to portray. The film is an absolute delight to watch, and I can’t wait for audiences to watch it either.” Pravin Lakkaraju has composed music for Ek Mini Katha, while Gokul Bharathi was roped in as cinematographer.
