It was confirmed recently that ace lensman-filmmaker Santosh Sivan will be helming the Bollywood remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Maanagaram and that Vikrant Massey will essay Sundeep Kishan’s role in the Hindi version. We now have it that Vijay Sethupathi will be doing a crucial role in the project, which is all set to go on floors from January. A source says, "Vijay Sethupathi, who signed the film on Thursday, will be seen playing a pivotal character which was there in the Tamil version as well. He will also be dubbing his own lines." Veteran actor Sanjay Mishra will also be playing a significant character in the movie. The source adds that the film will be made on a bigger canvas. Apart from changes in character detailing, there will be nativity changes, too. Santosh’s style of shot divisions and depiction of a few places in Mumbai will be some of the highlights of the project.
