'Thalapathy 65' makers rush to complete the film quickly amidst second wave of COVID-19

As the nation battles a strong second wave of COVID-19, several restrictions are being re-imposed. And amidst this situation, the makers of Vijay starrer 'Thalapathy 65' are rushing to wrap the film on priority. Directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the leading lady. One unit of the film along with Pooja have taken off to Georgia for the first schedule of 'Thalapathy 65'. And according to a report on a news portal, 'Thalapathy 65' makers have planned to finish the film's shoot at the earliest considering the corona second wave. Almost one-third of the film will be shot in Georgia, and the team has planned their second schedule in Chennai in May. Touted to be a mass action entertainer, 'Thalapathy 65' has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. While there are huge expectations from 'Thalapathy 65', it is yet unclear if the makers have any plans to release the movie this year. Most of the festive dates of 2021 have already been booked by several other big releases. Makers of 'Annaatthe' starring Rajinikanth have locked Diwali 2021, hence it looks like 'Thalapathy 65' may hit the big screen during Pongal 2022.
