Suriya's film with Siruthai Siva will be a dual-action drama

Director Siruthai Siva has just delivered an emotional drama 'Annaatthe' starring Superstar Rajinikanth, and the 2021 Diwali release is doing massive at the box office. Meanwhile, there are several reports doing rounds on the internet regarding Siruthai Siva's next film. Now, the latest report suggests that Suriya's film with Siruthai Siva will be a dual-action drama. Siruthai Siva has almost locked a film with Suriya, and the official announcement is awaited. Siruthai Siva has started working on the pre-production work on the film. The film is loosely based ont he shades of the director's last two films 'Viswasam' and 'Annaatthe'. Interestingly, Suriya will be playing a dual role as a city and village character like his blockbuster drama 'Vel' with Hari. The untitled film will start rolling once the actor finishes his prior commitments. Siruthai has been planning for a reunion with Superstar Rajinikanth, and he also wishes to direct Vijay soon. Suriya will be next seen in 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan', which is directed by Pandiraj, and the film is nearing completion. Suriya has also announced 'Vaadi Vaasal' with Vetri Maaran, and the pre-production work for the film is taking a long time as the story is set in the 1960s.
