Sivakarthikeyan’s production venture ‘Kanaa’, originally released in 2018 got premiered in China lately and is receiving rave reviews. Recently a fan from China penned a heartwarming note after watching ‘Kanaa’ and Sivakarthikeyan was overwhelmed with it. The star took to his social media handle to express gratitude to the fan for showering so much love on ‘Kanaa’. Based on women cricketers, the film was directed by Sivakarthikeyan’s friend debutant Arunraja Kamaraj and it featured Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. Taking to his Twitter handle, Sivakarthikeyan shared that the review from the fan in China, itself is a milestone for the film and also extended his gratitude to all the audience who gave the film a warm welcome. 'Kanaa' is about a young girl's dream of winning the cricket WorldCup for India to make her father happy. Aishwarya Rajesh played the lead role, while Sathyaraj played her father in the film. Sivakarthikeyan has also played an extended cameo as an Indian women's cricket team coach and added great support to the film. 'Kanaa', also becomes the second Tamil film after Rajinikanth's '2.O', to screen in China.
