Later, fans mocked the director for his reply and pin point the question to the director on social media. Selvaraghavan has now realized his mistake and took to Twitter to share his apology. He said he did not understand the question during the interview, and the director realized it only after the fans pointed it out on social media. Selvaraghavan then explained that he should have been more careful, and apologized for his statement.
