Harbhajan Singh share pictures from the sets of his debut Tamil film 'Friendship'

Indian cricketer, commonly known as the 'turbanator' in the sports world is all set for his Tamil debut film 'Friendship'. Taking to his Twitter handle, the actor has recently shared a couple of pictures from the sets as he kickstarts the final schedule of the film and wrote, 'Friendship Movie Final Schedule Production has taken off in Jet Speed. I am eagerly waiting to meet you all in theaters in a Different Pitch in a New Avatar. This Summer Let's Rock #FriendshipSummer'. Harbhajan Singh also tweeted in Tamil and expressed his excitement on starting the final schedule of the movie and said he enjoyed shooting wearing a 'veshti' and added that the audience can celebrate the film similar to the way they enjoy a Thala or Thalapathy movie when it releases during the summer season. Notably, the popular cricketer has also featured in David Dhawan's Bollywood flick 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' which released in the year 2004 and starred Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra. Talking about the film 'Friendship', it is being directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Suriya and also stars action king Arjun Sarja and 'Bigg Boss' fame Losliya Mariyenesan. Well, once an ace Indian bowler, Harbhajan Singh might be new in the acting business, but his wife Geeta Basra was a well-known Bollywood actress before getting married to him in the year 2015. She has acted in several movies like the film 'Dil Diya Hai' opposite Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel and 'The Train'. She has also been featured in the film, 'Second Hand Husband' where Harbhajan Singh had made a special appearance. On the work front, Harbhajan Singh played his last cricket game for India in the year 2016 and is yet to announce his retirement from the gentleman's game. However, he is still an active IPL player and often plays the role of a commentator in international matches.
