Did actress Namitha behave rudely with police and EC officials? Husband Veerendra Chowdhary clarifies

Popular South Indian actress Namitha was recently in the news for reportedly behaving rudely with police personnels and election commission officials. Her husband Veerendra Chowdhary has now cleared the air and come out in support of his wife. In a detailed account of the incident, Veerenda said that on their way to a shoot site around midnight, they were stopped three times by cops and they co-operated. But soon after, they were stopped once again by an election commission official who spoke very rudely to all occupants in the car, all the while insisting on checking Namita's personal handbag which she agreed to do only in the presence of a female cop. Veerandra also said the official was rummaging through their belongings as though they were trafficking something illegal.
