The makers have reportedly planned to make the film as Ajith's second release in 2022, and they are aiming to release the film this Diwali. The title and release of 'AK 61' are expected to be announced during the muhurat puja to excite the fans. It is worth mentioning that Ajith's 'Valimai' was also first planned to release for Diwali 2020, but it couldn't happen due to the corona outbreak. The film work had been delayed to complete, and then the action drama was finally fixed to release two weeks from now on February 24th.
