Anandhi says marriage has nothing to do with an actress’s career

Last month, actress Anandhi surprised one and all when pictures of her marriage started doing the rounds on social media. A few days later, she took to social media and shared details about her wedding. She believes marriage has nothing to do with an actress’s career and says she is confidently looking forward to doing performance-oriented roles. She opens up, “People usually say that a girl’s life would change post her wedding. But I’m blessed to have supporting in-laws, and I don’t feel any difference in my life." Many believe that actresses should do as much as films till the age of 30 as they think they may not be approached after marriage. She says, "But I believe that married life and career can co-exist. I don't think actresses will lose offers once they tie the knot." Anandhi also adds that unlike many assume, the decision to get hitched wasn't a sudden one. She says, "Our families knew each other for the last two years. They wanted us to get married at the right time."
