Trupti Toradmal, who makes her debut with Savita Damodar Paranjpe, went under the skin of her character. The film, inspired by a real incident, is based on a play by the same name, which was written by Shekhar Tamhane. The film, directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi, features Trupti, Subodh Bhave and Raqesh Bapat.
