Soubin Shahir will be seen playing a character with a dual personality in the upcoming Sidharth Bharathan’s directorial film ‘Djinn’. The film is billed as a theatrical release and the date is scheduled for May 13. Recently the makers unveiled an intriguing trailer for the film that promises an intriguing psychological drama filled with suspense, drama, and magnificent performances, especially from the lead Soubin Shahir. The two minutes twenty-two seconds trailer showcases Soubin Shahir’s character having a dual personality disorder and also the character’s setting shifts from a rural to an urban setting that comes with a modern makeover of Soubin Shahir’s character. The trailer also promises a suspense thrill ride as Soubin Shahir’s character is seen being tracked down by a group of people (Probably policemen). Overall the trailer for ‘Djinn’ looks promising and the audience is really waiting to see the magic of Sidharth Bharathan unveiled on the big screen on May 13. Meanwhile, Soubin Shahir’s recent outing was with the fifth and tentatively final installment of the CBI franchise titled ‘CBI5: The Brain’. The film was directed by K Madhu and had the actors Mammootty, Kaniha, Renji Panicker, Ramesh Pisharody, and Ansiba Hassan in pivotal roles.
