Suraj Venjaramoodu recently put out a video, urging the women in Kerala households to restrain the men from going outdoors during the lockdown, to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. “If you are going outside, you are inviting trouble,” he said. “Now, only women can help. No matter how much people tell men to stay indoors, they won’t listen. But if men no go outside, they will bring back someone with them – Coronavirus. Then it would be difficult to control. So, the women in their homes must stop the men from going out.”
