Stranded in Himalayas; Actress Manju Warrier, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and team rescued

Malayalam cinema's most popular actress Manju Warrier, who was trapped in Chatru village along with a 30 member film crew due to landslide, has been rescued. The actress went to the small village in the Himalayas to shoot director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's film 'Kayyatam'. Manju who is first wife of actor Dileep, has now being safely taken to the base camp. Officials of Union Minister V. Muraleedharan said that the minister contacted the district authorities of Chatru and a rescue team was sent on the spot after that. Manju and her team will be moved to Manali once they reach the camp.
