Ustad Hotel was a Malayalam movie that was released in the year 2012. It was also the second movie of actor Dulquer Salmaan, and it was directed by Anwar Rasheed. Anjali Menon won a national award too for its script. The music of the film was by Gopi Sundar, and it was much lauded for the authentic flavour of Kozhikode, with a sufi music mood. Recently, singer Sachin Raj did a cover version of one of its songs, ‘Khwajai,’ which appears alongside the end credits.
