Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Jana Gana Mana’ gets a U/A certificate

Prithviraj Sukumaran is gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller drama film ‘Jana Gana Mana’ which is billed as a worldwide theatrical release which is scheduled from April 28 onwards. Recently the makers announced that the film has passed all the censoring formalities and got a U/A certification from CBFC. The ace actor Suraj Venjaramoodu will be playing a pivotal role in the film as a daring cop character and in a previous interview with an online media, Prithviraj said that Suraj Venjaramoodu’s character is something unique and is completely different from his cop character in the film ‘Driving License’. Prithviraj Sukumaran also announced previously during the promotional function of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ that the film will come in two parts and the trailer and teaser unveiled by the makers have some pivotal scenes from the second part of the film. This announcement has indeed soared up the anticipation level among the audience and the ending explosion shot from the trailer had everyone in awe. ‘Jana Gana Mana’ comes with the tagline, “In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place - Mahatma Gandhi.” The tagline posits that the film will be dealing with a social issue that could be relatable to the majority of the audience irrespective of language barriers. Helmed by the director Dijo Jose Antony, the film is scripted by Sharis Mohammed and features the actors Mamta Mohandas, Sri Divya, Dhruvan, Shari, Shammi Thilakan, Vincy Aloshious, Pasupathy, and Vinod Sagar in pivotal roles.
