Nivin Pauly's ‘Padavettu’ gets an OTT release date

Nivin Pauly made his strong comeback after a long with the political action thriller ‘Padavettu’ which clicked well among the audience for its content and performances. Now the film is heading toward its OTT release which is scheduled for November 25. Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Padavettu’ will start streaming on a popular OTT platform from November 25 onwards. Although the film gained several positive responses from the audience, ‘Padavettu’ didn’t make much impact at the Kerala box office. Helmed by the director Liju Krishna, ‘Padavettu’ depicted the story of the oppressed section of society in northern Kerala. Nivin Pauly played the central character Ravi and got much adulation for his flawless performance along with Shammi Thilakan who played the role of Kuyyali. Background music by Govind Vasantha was said to be one of the major highlights of ‘Padavettu’ along with stunning performances. ‘Padavettu’ was scripted by the director Liju Krishna himself and Deepak D Menon was roped in as the cinematographer. The editing section of ‘Padavettu’ was handled by Shafique Mohammed Ali and music by Govind Vasantha. Apart from Nivin Pauly and Shammi Thilakan, ‘Padavettu’ also featured the actors Aditi Balan, Shine Tom Chacko, Indrans, Vijayaraghavan, Manoj Omen, Kainakary Thankaraj, and Sunny Wayne in significant roles.
