Mohanlal’s ‘12th Man’ gets an OTT release

After the success of ‘Drishyam 2’, Jeethu Joseph is teaming up with Mohanlal for the third time with the suspense thriller ‘12th Man’. The makers recently announced that the film will start streaming via a popular OTT platform soon. The date for the release of the suspense thriller is yet to be announced officially by the makers. Mohanlal, who plays the lead in ‘12th Man’, took to his official Facebook handle to announce that his upcoming Jeethu Joseph directorial film will be premiered via the OTT platform soon. The latest poster of ‘12th Man’ features the actors Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Anusree, Leona Lishoy, Anu Sithara, Sshivada, Priyanka Nair, and Chandhunadh. ‘12th Man’ comes with the tagline ‘Unveiling the shadows’, and as per the reports, the plot has an Agatha Christie-style that is based on twelve strangers who come across from different ways of life come together as the result of an invitation letter sent by an unnamed host. The reports also suggest that the story deals with the mystery that takes place around the lives of those twelve people within a span of 24 hours. The expectation level’s for ‘12th Man’ is really high among the audience as the team Mohanlal- Jeethu Joseph has never backed from giving successful hits which is evident from their previous films ‘Drishyam’, and ‘Drishyam 2’. On the other hand, Mohanlal has a list of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline for the year 2022, and that includes the films ‘L2: Empuraan’, ‘Monster’, ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’, and ‘Alone’.
