Mohanlal donates robot to Kochi hospital's Covid-19 ward

Superstar Mohanlal’s ViswaSanthi Foundation donated an autonomous robot for the Covid-19 ward at the Kalamassery Medical College. The robot will reportedly be on duty as caregiver at the isolation ward at the medical college from April 25. The robot is named as KARMI-Bot and was developed by ASIMOV robotics, a company working under maker village of Kerala start-up mission. Its main responsibilities include dispensing food, medicine, collecting trash disposed by patients, performing disinfection and enabling video calls between doctors and patients.
