Manju Warrier to play the leading lady in Ajith’s ‘AK61’

After making an illustrious debut in Tamil with Dhanush starrer ‘Asuran’, Manju Warrier has bagged her next. This time around, the superstar is collaborating with Tamil superstar Ajith. Manju Warrier has roped in to play the female lead opposite Ajith Kumar in an upcoming film tentatively titled ‘AK61’. The actress will be joining the team soon. Ajith is collaborating with director H Vinoth for the third consecutive time and the yet-to-be-titled film has reportedly gone on floors in Hyderabad. The duo have previously teamed up for films ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ and ‘Valimai’. As per the reports, ‘AK61’ is a heist thriller, and is mounted on a massive budget. The makers of ‘AK61’ has also erected a massive set of Chennai Mount Road, and a bank in the Hyderabad studio. And the filming is happening at a warp speed.
