Malayalam star Vijay Babu’s passport gets impounded in alleged sexual assault case

Malyalam actor and producer Vijay Babu's passport has got impounded and his travel documents and visa are now invalid. Police suspected that after fleeing the country last month, Vijay Babu has moved from Dubai. According to city police commissioner, Vijay had informed the passport officer that he was on a business tour and will be back by May 24. Therefore, police would wait till May 24 and take the necessary step accordingly. A case was registered against Vijay for an alleged rape on April 22 and five days later he was charged with another case for disclosing the rape victim’s identity during a Facebook live session.
