Malavika Mohanan makes her comeback to Mollywood after a long gap

After a long gap, the actress Malavika Mohanan is making her comeback to the Malayalam film industry and this time the talented diva will be sharing screen space with Mollywood’s young and promising actor Mathew Thomas. Another highlight of the film is that it will be the first time that the renowned writers GR Indugopan and Benyamin will be teaming up to pen down the screenplay of a movie. According to the reports, the pooja function of the upcoming Malavika Mohanan - Mathew Thomas starrer will be conducted on September 21 in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is bankrolled by the same production team that produced the films ‘Uncle’, ‘Duplicate’, and ‘Sevenes’. Reportedly the film will be shot in major locations in Poovar, Neyyanttinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, and Nagarcoil. Helmed by the debutant Alwin Henry, the script of the untitled movie is also penned down by the director himself. Mathew Thomas and Malavika Mohanan will be playing the pivotal lead characters in the film and the rest of the cast includes Joy Mathew, Rajesh Madhavan, Vineeth Vishwam, Sminu Sijo, Muthumani, Veena Nair, Jaya S Kurup, and Manju Pathrose. Amend C Chandran who is best known for the films ‘Premam’, and the Mammootty starrer ‘Bheeshma Parvam', will be cranking the lens for the Malavika Mohanan starrer. Govind Vasantha will be composing the music for the untitled movie and the lyrics will be penned down by Anwar Ali, and Vinayak Sasikumar. Manu Antony is roped in as the editor for the movie. Meanwhile, Malavika Mohanan’s previous outing in the Malayalam film industry was with the Mammootty starrer action entertainer ‘The Great Father’.
