MACTA's petition to Help Indian Cinema

With the pandemic dealing a huge blow to the film industry and affecting the livelihoods of thousands of workers in the field, the Malayalam Cine Technicians’ Association initiated a Help Indian Cinema campaign. A five hour-video has been prepared and will be submitted to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, with over 3,000 video clips from directors, actors, film editors, music composers and more, making the request to ‘please, help Indian cinema’. “We are hopeful of a positive response from the government,” said MACTA chairman and filmmaker Jayaraj.
