Light lamps, dispel darkness, says Mohanlal

Many celebs have been urging the nation to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent appeal to light a lamp in front of their houses for nine minutes at 9 pm on April 5. Malayalam actor Mohanlal also endorsed this message recently through his page. The actor said,” As the nation is in a silent war with the pandemic Covid 19, all of us are together to fight this unseen enemy. In this difficult times amid the lockdown, our honourable Prime Minister has requested all of us to join in solidarity, today, Sunday April 5 at 9 pm, for 9 minutes, in a spirit lifting initiative to light a lamp, in front of our homes. The light we shine should be the beacon for life and solidarity for all the Indians and I implore each one of you tonight to light a lamp in front of your house.
