Sukumara Kurup abscounding case is a renowned incident that shook Kerala many years ago. Now, director Srinath Rajendran, who debuted in Malayalam through Dulquer Salmaan’s first movie ‘Second Show,’ is all set to make a movie inspired by the same events. ‘Kurup’ went on floors recently in Kerala and the movie’s puja function was attended by many like the director and the film’s hero, actress – director Gauthami Nair, actor – DJ Sekhar, Shine Tom Chacko. The film’s story is by Jithin K Jose.
